





Maruti N. Bannavagol, a native of Kargav village in Chikkodi. The family also are the priests of a temple. He completed his college education from Pt. Nehru College in Shahapur, Belagavi. And he later completed a Diploma in Library & Information Science, starting his career as a journalist in 1994.
Maruti's first job in Marketing & Wholesale Warehousing India was in Delhi and other north Indian cities like Dehradun and Chandigarh. He traveled extensively across Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, J&K, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh & Rajasthan.
Later, he joined TV24 in 2008–09 — a satellite TV and National Hindi News channel headquartered in Chandigarh. The company belongs to a prominent business family with interests in different parts of north India. Maruti Bannavagol was later appointed as a Reporter and became the State Correspondent of TV24 in Karnataka.
He decided to venture on his own, and thus was born 24MNB (YouTube News Channel) five years back. His news is available in Kannada, Marathi, Hindi & English — featuring medium, short, and long-form videos.
As digital and social media continues to transform rapidly, Maruti grasped the trend and took the initiative in April 2023. He’s the Founder of the Karnataka Working Digital & Social Media Association (KWD-SMA), a registered body with nine members.
The motive of KWD-SMA is to create media awareness even in remote areas. It invites journalists from across the state, and has plans to open chapters in all districts of Karnataka.
