The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) is European Legislation aimed at removing the technical barriers to trade relating to the supply of pressure equipment throughout Europe. The PED is based on Essential Safety Requirements (ESRs) that govern design, manufacturing, inspection, and testing.<\/p>
