RYLA was organised at Maratha Regimental centre Belgaum. 72 students, teachers and Rotarians attended the Camp. •After a brief talk by Major Pradhan, a viewing of a motivational film on the “ARMY” was done, after which participants were shown around the Museum, and Hall of Valor. •They were then shown around the Parade Ground, and PT Ground. •At the “Training Area” they exposed to details of: Short range firing, Bayonet Fighting Helicopter Slithering, Obstacles Minefields On 28th Nov. 49 students, teachers and Rotarians were taken in Army vehicles to MLIRC’s Rohideshwar Jungle Camp at Bhutramhatti. •After being exposed to the “Difficult Obstacle Course”, a few students tried this course and came away with an appreciation for the skill and tenacity of the members of our Forces. •They were then taken to the Long Range where participants were exposed in a practical way to work done by our soldiers in dealing with insurgency and terrorists.
